EMEA HR Advisor

Location: Poland (remote)

Employment: 12-month FTC with view to extend

 

About the role: 

We are seeking an ambitious, hard-working individual to join the EMEA People Team to take us to the next level. You will continually challenge the status quo to ensure that we are the best People team in the business across EMEA region  

In addition to ensuring compliance of all the usual HR protocols, you will have strong Employee Relations experience to be able to provide a comprehensive, proactive and efficient HR service by providing information, guidance and support to employees and managers across all employment related matters, in support of the HR and business strategy, working across all brands within the Inside Ideas Group. Working alongside our People Partners, Senior People Partners and Head of People, you will also support the roll out of key People initiatives to help deliver the OLIVER HR People strategy against our 2025 people plan improving internal administrative process. 

This role will be a remote role supporting our internal EMEA people teams in a varied, fast-paced and energetic role which requires someone to think on their feet, be proactive, be agile and hungry to learn and succeed.   

What you will be doing: 

The team's activities are varied, and you will need to be prepared to roll your sleeves up and get involved in everything from a HR generalist perspective. The main day to day tasks includes, but are not limited to:  

  • Provide support and guidance on labor legislation across various European countries. Have strong Employee Relations experience to advise and support managers on staffing issues in the areas of performance management, redundancy, sickness, absence, conduct and capability.; escalating to the Senior People Partner and Head of People as appropriate 
  • Work and support the Admin team to enhance internal HR process and ensure operational efficiency (optimizing onboarding process, streamlining new hire documentation in EMEA ensuring compliance with the local legislation, support the implementation of automated system to reduce manual inputs, update policies and employee handbooks in each market). 
  • Collaborate with Admin team and Payroll team to streamline payroll workflows, ensuring payments are processed efficiently and on a timely fashion. Support and advise our stakeholders in relation to people issues, ensuring they understand the impact of these on both the individual and the business  
  • Work closely with your stakeholders to drive engagement, development and support 
  • Build and maintain an excellent knowledge of employees, objectives and business processes within Oliver 
  • Support and help plan with People partners/Senior People Partners all change management elements of restructuring, redundancy and cost saving initiatives 
  • Actively identify gaps, propose and implement changes to process and procedure to ensure we continually deliver a great employee experience 
  • Support the People Partners and Head of People with any ad-hoc projects or assignments  
  • Play a proactive role in driving forward the EMEA People team projects aligned to our overall people plan objectives for 2025 
  • Providing reports to the business regarding HR metrics. Support the implementation of HR Analytics tools and optimize data entry workflows to reduce errors and improve efficiency in managing personnel files. 
  • Liaising with Payroll for all new starters, variances and leavers. 100% accuracy is key. 
What you need to be great in this role: 
  • Experience: Min 3 years of experience in HR role in multinational companies 
  • Legal knowledge: Good understanding of the labour laws in Europe 
  • Analytical skills: Ability to conduct detailed assessment of HR policies and procedures and identify areas of improvement 
  • Project management skills: experience in HR-related projects, such as process optimization, policy harmonization across regions, and implementing new compliance initiatives. Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, set priorities, manage deadlines, and ensure the successful delivery of HR initiatives in a structured and efficient manner. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Problem solving mindset 
  • Fluent in English; other European languages is a plus
