We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Researcher to join our team and lead user experience research initiatives for Micromedex. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding the needs and behaviors of health care professionals who rely on Micromedex for critical drug information. Your insights will drive the design and development of user-centered solutions that enhance the usability and effectiveness of our product.Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute UX research projects from start to finish, including planning, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative research studies, such as user interviews, surveys, usability tests, and ethnographic field studies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders, to integrate research findings into product development.
Develop and maintain user personas, journey maps, and other research artifacts to communicate user needs and behaviors.
Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices within the organization.
Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in UX research methodologies, specifically AI approaches.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in UX research, preferably in the health care technology industry.
Strong expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Proven ability to translate research findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
Familiarity with health care regulations and standards is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in UX research tools such as User Testing, Optimal Workshop, and Dovetail.
Experience with data analysis software such as SPSS, R, or Python.
Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
