About the position

The Senior Integrations Engineer role is focused on designing, developing, and implementing complex software integrations to connect various systems and applications. This role requires a deep understanding of integration patterns, technologies, and best practices, with a focus on delivering integrations as a managed service. The Senior Integrations Engineer will play a key role in ensuring seamless data flow and process automation across the organization and with external partners, with a strong emphasis on client interaction and satisfaction.

What will you be doing?

  • Design, develop, and implement complex integrations between various enterprise systems and applications.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including clients, to gather integration requirements, define specifications, and develop solutions.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, data mappings, and integration workflows.
  • Build reusable integration components and services.
  • Optimize integrations for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, and provide ongoing support, including direct interaction with clients.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, architects, and business analysts.
  • Evaluate and recommend new integration technologies and tools.
  • Contribute to the development of integration standards and best practices.
  • Work with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP and Azure.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines.

What we need:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on systems integration.
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns, technologies, and best practices (e.g., APIs, ESB, messaging, ETL).
  • Experience with API design and development (REST, SOAP).
  • Experience with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Experience with data mapping and transformation tools.
  • Experience with various data formats (e.g., JSON, XML) and protocols.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with cloud-based integration platforms and services (e.g., AWS Integration Services, Azure Integration Services, Google Cloud Integration).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to interact effectively with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working with JIRA in an agile scrum environment
  • Proficiency in JSONata for data transformation and manipulation.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with specific programming languages relevant to integrations (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js).
  • Knowledge of security best practices for integrations (e.g., OAuth, SAML).
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization of integrations.
  • Experience with event-driven architecture.
  • Answer incoming customer calls, emails, and chat to provide detailed information for one-touch resolution
  • Data entry (documenting calls, activities, and emails) into our Call Center software
  • Process shipment change requests and follow up to ensure completion
  • Consistently monitor email requests and provide detailed information in a timely fashion
  • Regular and dependable work attendance. Be working when you are scheduled as agreed
