We are looking for a Founding AI & Data Engineer, who will play a pivotal role in the development of a cutting-edge AI platform at the heart of our client’s product. In this role, you will work side by side with the founders to architect and implement the AI platform, fine-tune foundation models, create intelligent recommendations, and invent novel solutions to drive the next generation of developer insights. This is a high-impact opportunity for an ambitious hands-on leader who wants to build at the cutting edge of AI and data intelligence. You’ll have the significant ownership to drive technical strategy, define best practices, and shape the future of AI-assisted engineering.

Location: LatAm (remote)

Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement AI infrastructure, including model fine-tuning, real-time inference, and scalable data pipelines.
• Develop intelligent recommendation systems that help teams boost higher performance, decision-making and efficiency.
• Build and optimize multi-agent AI architectures to provide contextual insights from engineering data.
• Implement mechanisms for continuous model updates to adapt to evolving inputs and workflows.
• Ensure AI-generated insights are accurate, intuitive, and valuable for technical leaders.
• Work closely with the founding team to define the technical roadmap, set development priorities, and establish best practices.
• Use AI-driven insights to help individuals unlock new opportunities by increasing their professional identity, reputation, and skill development.

Skills & Requirements:

• Proven experience building and scaling AI/ML systems from the ground up, ideally in fast-paced environments.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch, vLLM, and other AI/ML frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js
• Experience with OpenAI/Langgraph/Langchain/Agent
• Expertise in training and fine-tuning large language models (e.g., GPT, LLaMA).
• Solid knowledge of NLP techniques, generative AI, and prompt engineering.
• Experience building multi-agent systems and distributed architectures.
• A product-focused mindset and ability to translate complex AI capabilities into user-friendly experiences.
• Master’s/PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or equivalent experience.
