Full Stack Developer

As our Full Stack Developer, you'll work on the development and enhancement of both our web and native apps.

The Simply Bread app revolutionizes the way consumers purchase local, fresh, artisan bread, while helping bakers with the production and sale of their products, all while fostering a supportive community for our users. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team responsible for the entire software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. You should also be a hard-working team player with a knack for good UX and an eye for detail. You will work closely with our Engineering & Product Manager to bring our vision to life.

Your Responsibilities

• Work with our development team and product manager to ideate software solutions.

• Design client-side and server-side architecture

• Build the frontend of applications following Figma mockups/designs

• Develop performant and maintainable backend services

• Test software to ensure responsiveness, efficiency, and robustness

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade features and systems

Your Qualifications

• Full-time availability (40+ hours/week)

• Excellent verbal and written English

• Strong work ethic / Self starter

• Excellent eye for detail

• 3+ years full-time experience with React, React Native or a similar framework

• 3+ years full-time experience with Node

• 3+ years full-time experience with TypeScript

• Must be available for a minimum of 2 hours every weekday, between 8 am-5 pm US Pacific Time zone

• Must be able to join frequent video calls to collaborate with other team members

• Ability to effectively work asynchronously and communicate via Slack, email, & video calls

• Mobile dev (ReactNative, iOS, or Android) experience
