As a
Payments Data Analyst, you’ll transform complex payment transaction data into powerful insights. Your work will directly influence operational decisions, risk mitigation, reconciliation accuracy, and customer experience enhancements. You’ll collaborate with Finance, Customer Support, and Product teams to streamline payment efficiency across multiple markets.
🎯 The Responsibilities & The Impact YOU Will Have
- Analyze payment transaction data to uncover trends, detect anomalies, and drive improvements in processing efficiency.
- Build and maintain dashboards to track core payment KPIs in real time.
- Partner with Finance for payment reconciliations and reporting accuracy.
- Support the PSP Manager in assessing payment method performance across global markets.
- Provide ad-hoc data analysis for investigations and operational decision-making.
- Define and refine data requirements for payment reporting, ensuring consistency and integrity.
- Present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to evolving data quality processes and reporting frameworks.
⚡ All you need is…
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, ideally in payment operations, fintech, or transactional environments.
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Oracle BI.
- Strong analytical thinking and a solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on data integrity and accuracy.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally, especially with Finance and Customer Support teams.
Nice to have
- Understanding of financial reconciliation and basic accounting principles.
- Experience with Python or other scripting tools for automation or advanced analytics.
- Exposure to A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, or behavioral analytics.
- Previous experience in gaming/iGaming or other high-volume transaction ecosystems.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar agile task/project management tools.
