Job description

This is femtasy

At femtasy, we believe great design solves real problems — with empathy, creativity, and intention. As our next (Senior) UX Product Designer, you'll shape how people discover, experience, and fall in love with our products. From their very first click to their favorite audio moment, you’ll help craft a journey that feels intuitive, inclusive, and emotionally resonant.

femtasy is the first streaming platform for sensual audio stories & sexy sounds for women. We make women happy and inspire; simple as that. We stand for zest for life – female empowerment is in our DNA. We have already positively impacted the lives of several thousands of women by redefining female pleasure. Sexuality to us means pleasure, genuineness, and enjoyment. We are working on something big, something impactful, something beautiful. Let’s make the lives of millions of women worldwide a bit more joyful.

What Your Day Might Look Like

You’ll be part of our Product Growth team, working hand-in-hand with Product Managers, Engineers, Marketers, and Audio Creators. Together, you’ll design seamless experiences — from the first website visit to that magical moment when a user hits “play”… and then tells their friends all about it.

Own End-to-End Product Design Process (40%)

  • Conduct user interviews and dive into behavioural data with the PM and Data Analyst to uncover key pain points and opportunities
  • Turn insights into hypotheses and HMW questions and lead ideation sessions with the team
  • Design thoughtful, user-centred solutions that consider the entire user journey — not just a single screen.
  • Collaborate with engineers to bring designs to life, then measure their impact and iterate

Collaborate Across Teams (30%)

  • Work with PMs and Marketers to make our first-touch experiences compelling and clear
  • Collaborate with PMs, Engineers and Content Designers to improve product flows that drive retention
  • Team up with Audio Creators to help users find the content that feels just right

Build & Evolve the Design System (20%)

  • Own and grow our design system to ensure consistency and scalability across the product
  • Anticipate how new features impact the full experience — and reduce friction wherever it lives
  • Make sure nothing breaks the magic

Ensure inclusive and emotional design (10%)

  • This is a unique product — and you’ll need to design with empathy, sensitivity, and nuance
  • Champion inclusive, accessible design principles across every touchpoint
  • Advocate for under-represented users and design for real, diverse needs

About you

You're obsessed with understanding users—how they think, feel, move, and stumble through digital experiences — and finding solutions to their problems. You approach problem-solving with creativity and purpose, always aiming to deliver solutions that are both meaningful to users and valuable to the business.

  • 5+ years’ experience as a UX or Product Designer
  • Strong portfolio showcasing user-centric, problem/solution thinking
  • Skilled in Figma (your second home), prototyping, and testing tools
  • Experienced with growth challenges (think: landing pages, onboarding, conversion, retention)
  • Comfortable talking to users and transforming feedback into product magic
  • You know your way around conversion rate optimisation and speak fluent business — you understand key metrics, how to move them, and why they matter
  • Collaborative by nature — across product, marketing, content, and tech
  • Bonus: experience in wellness, audio, or women-centred products
  • Bonus: you speak German or French (but it's not a dealbreaker)

What we offer:

  • The chance to join a huge mission! #impact
  • Flexible remote working from wherever you like for at least 10 weeks per year and flexible working hours
  • The possibility to learn and grow with team learning sessions, learning & development budget, and internal training sessions
  • A team culture based on transparency, ownership, open feedback, and optimism
  • An annual subscription for femtasy of course ;)
  • Reduced Urban sports club membership
  • Pension plan (Germany only at the moment)
  • Company outings, regular team events, and after-work evening drinks (now online), we even have a big office garden for BBQs!

femtasy offers equal opportunities for all and encourages applicants of all nationalities, genders, sexual orientations, religious background, gender identities and people with disabilities to apply

We appreciate candidates from all around the world. However, due to our current small size and focus, we are only considering applications from candidates that are located within the EU. If you are not located within the EU unfortunately we won't be checking your candidature at the moment.
