ENG (engbim.com) is a BIM company that specializes in hands-on, field-focused BIM services. Founded in 2007, we have positioned ourselves as the largest and most experienced BIM production service provider in the United States, having completed 5,000 BIM projects with a dedicated team of over 600 staff members. We provide MEP Modeling, VDC/BIM Management, Laser Scanning, and Scan to BIM services, as well as a comprehensive array of BIM production services to architects, engineers, and owners.
The Role
We are currently seeking a BIM Specialist (Prefab) to join one of our most advanced client teams, focused on extreme prefabrication. This role is an exciting opportunity to work on the cutting edge of BIM and fabrication technology, where models are used directly in the manufacturing process.
As a BIM Specialist (Prefab), you will be responsible for highly detailed mechanical modeling, contributing to innovative prefabrication workflows in collaboration with U.S.-based teams. Your work will have a direct impact on real-world construction, especially in complex projects such as hospitals and institutional buildings. You will be expected to model at a high level of detail, including accurate fittings and connections, and ensure compliance with project-specific LOD (Level of Development) requirements.
This position demands strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to integrate seamlessly with a collaborative, people-oriented team.
Mandatory Requirements

Advanced level of Revit, with a focus on mechanical modeling

Advanced student or graduate in Civil or Mechanical Engineering

Experience with complex projects (e.g., hospitals, institutional buildings)

Proficiency working with LOD 400–450 models

Upper Intermediate level of English (must be able to engage in technical conversations and presentations)

Strong team orientation and willingness to collaborate
Desirable Requirements

Experience in U.S.-based projects

Background in mechanical and/or plumbing modeling

Familiarity with Navisworks

Ability to produce detailed models, including real-world fittings and connection types

Previous experience in prefabrication or projects with high LOD standards
