We are seeking a highly motivated Semi Senior Accountant Analyst to join our team at a multinational service company. The ideal candidate will have experience in country-specific accounting, advanced English proficiency, and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment with dispersed teams across various countries. Attention to detail, adaptability, and familiarity with US GAAP audit standards are essential. Experience with D365 is desirable.
Main Responsibilities
Manage and analyze accounting operations across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with both local statutory requirements and international financial regulations.
Prepare and review accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
Support and coordinate monthly and annual financial close processes, ensuring deadlines are met with a high level of accuracy.
Perform complex account reconciliations, with a strong focus on balance sheet accounts—particularly equity accounts related to the technology sector, including unbilled and deferred revenue.
Propose and implement appropriate adjustments to maintain the integrity of financial data and compliance with accounting principles.
Demonstrate expertise in revenue account reconciliations, particularly for IT and technology companies, including an understanding of various project types (e.g., time and materials, fixed price, milestones).
Review and analyze profit and loss accounts with a focus on allocation accuracy across departments and business units.
Collaborate closely with local and international accounting teams to ensure alignment, clear communication, and consistency in accounting practices.
Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring that all processes adhere to US GAAP and company policies.
Identify areas for process improvement and operational efficiencies, and propose practical, scalable solutions.
Strongly valued: Experience in payroll analysis and reconciliation, especially for countries such as the United States, Canada, and India.
Candidate Requirements
3 to 5 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in a multinational company.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and audit experience.
Advanced level of English, both written and spoken.
Proficiency in ERP systems, with experience in D365 being desirable.
