The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Provide expertise in communication theory, including the evaluation of payloads, terminals, and ground station systems.
High-level design of radiofrequency components: amplifiers, filters, mixers, etc.
PCB design for RF devices.
Functional and electrical verification of developed devices.
Deliver technical analysis and simulation to assess communication system performance and to develop next-generation communication architecture requirements.
Evaluate the performance of ground and satellite systems, as well as communication links.
Analyze radio frequency interference between systems to ensure compatibility.
Support the systems engineering team in identifying new communication concepts and architectures.
Experience and Skills Required:
At least 2 years of experience in similar roles.
Proficiency in English.
Experience in communications and electronic systems.
Experience in RF device simulation.
Experience in verifying communication system parameters (noise figure, sensitivity, channel selectivity, BER, isolation, mutual interference, phase noise, intermodulation, EVM, IP3, OIP3, etc.).
Proficiency in operating and maintaining RF instrumentation equipment.
Valuable Assets:
Experience in testing according to quality standards (ECSS) and international certifications.
Knowledge in the design of RF components operating above 12 GHz (Ku to Ka bands).
Experience in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing.
Theoretical understanding of space communication concepts.
Knowledge of international radio regulations (ITU).
Familiarity with antenna design theory.
