Description

GBH is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing tech team and help optimize, automate, and scale our development, deployment, and infrastructure management processes.

You’ll be a critical enabler across teams, working closely with engineering, QA, and operations to ensure we build, test, deploy, and monitor efficiently and effectively. If you're a proactive problem-solver who thrives in collaborative environments and loves continuous improvement, this role is for you.Objectives

  • Drive DevOps best practices, enabling continuous integration, delivery, and monitoring across diverse projects.
  • Improve infrastructure automation and optimize cloud environments for internal operations and customer-facing applications.
  • Empower teams to release software faster, more reliably, and securely.
Responsibilities
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines across multiple projects.
  • Enhance cloud infrastructure management processes (provisioning, scaling, security, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents quickly and effectively.
  • Monitor infrastructure and applications proactively using modern tools.
  • Develop and maintain clear documentation for policies, procedures, and configurations.
  • Partner with Service Delivery and IT teams to optimize deployment workflows and reduce risks.
  • Provide support in system operations, professional services, site reliability, and infrastructure security



Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in similar roles (DevOps, System Admin, Cloud Engineer).
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (UNIX/Linux) and networking.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
  • Practical experience with SDLC stages and version control systems (git-flow, trunk-based).
  • 2+ years of experience with containerization (Docker, Docker Compose).
  • 2+ years of experience using configuration management tools (Ansible, etc.).
  • 1+ years of experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Experience deploying and managing infrastructure with major cloud providers (AWS or Azure required; GCP is a plus).
  • Familiarity with orchestration tools (Docker Swarm, Kubernetes).
  • Fluent in English (Advanced reading and writing).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills.
