This is a remote position.

Schedule:
  • 20 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, flexible between 9AM to 5PM Rouse Hill, NSW

Job Description

We’re seeking a skilled Marketing Specialist with extensive e-commerce experience to take charge of our client’s digital ecosystem. In this pivotal role, you’ll manage and optimize WordPress-based e-commerce websites, focusing on enhancing user experience, improving site performance, and driving sales growth. You’ll have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from implementing cutting-edge features to creating engaging content that showcases our products. This position offers a unique blend of technical challenges and creative opportunities, allowing you to make a significant impact on a growing business in the safety and cleaning supplies sector.


Technical Skills
  1. Content Writing:

  • Ability to write SEO-optimized blog posts using tools like ChatGPT, Excellent grammar and editing skills.

  • Social Media Management:

    • Proficiency in Creating & managing Instagram Linkedin, Youtube and TikTok accounts.

    • Basic knowledge of engagement strategies (hashtags, trends, and analytics).

  • Graphic Design:

    • Proficiency in Canva to create high-quality graphics for social media and digital products.

    • Experience designing eBooks and infographics.

  • Email Marketing:

    • Knowledge of email marketing platforms specifically Klaviyo and Mailchimp.

    • Ability to design email templates and create automated workflows.

    • Ability to work to an annual Marketing schedule 

  • Affiliate Marketing:

    • Experience with and can recommend affiliate platforms networks.

    • Knowledge of tracking and optimizing affiliate links for conversions.

  • Website Management:

    • Experience with WordPress, including basic design and plugin management (Elementor, WP Rocket, etc ).

    • Familiarity with Google Analytics for tracking website performance.

  • Basic Video Editing:

    • Ability to create simple faceless videos for Linkedin, Youtube and TikTok using tools like InShot or CapCut.

    • Adding AI voiceovers and captions to videos.

  • Keyword Research:

    • Knowledge of SEO tools like Ubersuggest, Ahrefs, or SEMrush to identify high-value keywords.

  • Google Ads:

    • Has a working knowledge of Google Ads

    • Can implement, analyse and recommend suggestions to improve sales

    Soft Skills

    1. Professional:

    • Seasoned candidate able to articulate and bring previous experience and ideas.

  • Attention to Detail:

    • Ensuring accuracy in blog posts, affiliate links, and social media content.

  • Proactive Communication:

    • Regular updates on progress and suggestions for improvement.

    • Ability to request clarifications only when necessary.

  • Time Management:

    • Efficiently managing daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to meet deadlines.

  • Creativity:

    • Generating engaging content ideas for blogs and social media.

    • Designing visually appealing graphics and pins.

  • Problem-Solving:

    • Handling unexpected issues with tools, platforms, or content with minimal guidance.

  • Presentation: 

    • Provide weekly updates as required.

    Experience

    1. At least 5+ years of experience in managing online businesses, blogs, or e-commerce.

    2. Proven portfolio of:

    • SEO blog posts, Social media campaigns.

    • Digital product designs (eBooks, templates, Videos etc).

    • Evidence of excelling in similar capacity.

    Tools candidate needs to be proficient in:

    1. WordPress: For website and blog management

    2. XERO: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) 

    3. Canva: For designing graphics, templates, and eBooks.

    4. ChatGPT: For content creation and ideation.

    5. Google Analytics/Ads : For tracking website traffic and performance.

    6. Klaviyo/Mailchimp: For email marketing campaigns.
