Position Overview: 

We are seeking an Underwriter CL – Associate to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for answering customer service phone calls, chats and processing insurance transactions and documents with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and industry regulations.  

Shift Hours: 

The hours of operation for this department are M-F 9am-6pm EST. 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Process and review insurance documents related to Commercial Workers Compensation policies. 

  • Process policy changes such as endorsements, cancellations and other policy requests. 

  • Verify the accuracy of information, making necessary updates in internal systems. 

  • Ensure all documents comply with company policies and industry standards. 

  • Collaborate with underwriting, claims, billing and other departments to resolve processing issues. 

  • Maintain data integrity by following established procedures and quality control measures. 

  • Meet productivity and accuracy benchmarks in a deadline-driven environment. 

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance. 

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent Customer Service and organizational skills. 

  • Ability to process endorsements and policy changes in our client's system 

  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting performance goals. 

  • Proficiency in E-mail: Open your Outlook, Start an E-mail, attach a document to the E-mail.  

  • Browser: Open an internet browser, save a page as your favorite, open another browser, minimize the browser.  

  • Microsoft Office and insurance-related software systems. 

  • Communication: Open Teams, share your screen, minimize Teams  

  • Strong communication skills for internal collaboration.
