Summary of Role:
The ServiceNow Product Manager is responsible for defining and managing the product strategy, direction, and roadmap. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and work with the development team to oversee the implementation of solutions on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring it meets organizational needs and supports continuous improvement.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Product Management: Defines the product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Owns development of the process for continuous evolution and decision making of the strategy and roadmap. Accountable for platform total cost of ownership and usage.  Defines and drives approach to license management.
  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements for new features and enhancements. Shapes demand for the platform. Prioritizes features and capabilities based on business value.
  • Prioritization: Prioritize the backlog of features and enhancements based on business needs and impact. Regularly holds meeting with Product Team to review backlog and priorities.
  • Development Oversight: Work closely with the development team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of solutions. ‘Reviews’ design decisions to ensure a seamless user experience that aligns with the platform design strategy.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the platform's efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Relationship Management: Primary owner of relationship with ServiceNow (platform provider). Works closely with product owners, architects, and developers to ensure consistency with the overall product strategy.

Other Responsibilities:

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in managing ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter who can work well independently or in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Project and program management experience.
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Able to cope with pressure.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.

Expected Salary Range

$106,100.00 - $200,000.00
