Fullstack Developer (Remote, Part-time)

Were building a modern SaaS platform and looking for a self-motivated, part-time freelance full-stack developer to join our lean team. You'll own feature development end-to-end, from database modeling to responsive UI, and help us ship high-quality releases every sprint.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development:

• Build and maintain dynamic, responsive interfaces in Next.js using React and TailwindCSS
• Implement design system components and ensure cross-browser consistency

Backend & Database:

• Design and implement RESTful API routes (Next.js API or Node.js)
• Model data and run migrations with Prisma against PostgreSQL
• Optimize SQL queries and schema for performance and scalability

Caching & State Management:

• Integrate and configure Redis for caching, session management, and pub/sub tasks

Collaboration & Quality:

• Work closely with product owners and designers in Agile sprints
• Write unit and integration tests (e.g. Jest, Testing Library)
• Participate in code reviews, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and uphold best practices

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional full-stack development experience
• Strong proficiency with Next.js and modern React (hooks, SSR/SSG)
• Solid SQL skills and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL
• Production experience with Prisma ORM
• Experience integrating Redis for caching or real-time features
• Expert-level CSS and TailwindCSS
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub workflows, and setting up CI/CD
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Comfortable working autonomously in a distributed team

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of multi-tenant SaaS architectures
• Docker & container orchestration basics
• Experience with TypeScript (frontend or backend)
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Grafana, ELK)

Commitment: ~1520 hours/week

Duration: 36 months, with potential extension

Location: Remote (work hours should overlap UTC+4 Gulf time)

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, paid monthly
