What You'll Do:
- Sr. Electrical Integration Engineer will lead and coordinate activities of cross-functional Internal/External resources. Candidate will be key in driving standardization across all manufacturing lines and processes as well as with all other manufacturing product lines. Will work closely with external equipment integrators and internally with Corporate Engineering, Quality, Production, and Maintenance to bring SSB from initial design, through prototype development and finally into full production.
- Participate in initial equipment conceptual development and carefully balance product specifications, process control requirements, layout complexity, cost, quality and lead-time limits.
- Implement (ANSI/RIA15.06/OSHA compliant) control reliable safety systems for safeguarding robots, gantries, conveyors, and other high-volume manufacturing equipment.
- Industrial control wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent SolidWorks.
- Design and troubleshoot electrical circuits (power and control) & controls panels
- Write engineering specifications to clarify design details or functional criteria of experimental electronics units
- Plan method or sequence of operations for developing or testing experimental electronic or electrical equipment
- Prepare electrical project cost or work-time estimates
- Other duties as assigned

- Conveyor systems, Robots, Automated equipment, and other Electrical Signal/Control System Integrations

- Electrical Controls and Instrumentation, 5 years (Preferred)
- Complete knowledge of all State/Federal/Municipality electrical codes and standards
- Electrical systems architectural development
- Scheduling and managing Contract Integration partners
- Electrical systems requirements development & analysis
- System, subsystem, and unit-to-unit electrical block diagram generation
- Applies technical expertise to the planning, design, development and testing of electrical control systems
- Identify and initiate corrective action of problems, discrepancies and deficiencies to ensure requirements (technical, schedule, & cost) are met and product quality is not compromised
- Strong leadership skills and ability to lead Contract engineers and Technicians
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated success in managing programs/projects to cost, performance, and schedule requirements
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing cross-functional teams

MS Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience Control Systems, Mechatronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience as a hands-on Controls design working on automation and/or electromechanical systems
- IPC STD, J-STD, IPC 610
- Technical/college degree in electrical, electronics, and/or automation engineering; will consider equivalent experience in lieu of degree
- Electrical training/experience with 480 3 phases/24v machine controls
- Experience with VFD Drives, Relays, etc.
- Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required
- Experience operating forklift equipment; forklift certification (will certify on site)
- Familiar with all OSHA and GMP standards & requirements
- Strong computer and math skills
- Demonstrated technical/analytical skills; ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Ability to work to support the needs of the business and work as needed. Could include but not limited to on call after hour and 50% travel
