The Senior Voice Engineer is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:
  • Voice System Design & Implementation:
    Design and deploy voice communication systems, including VoIP, PBX, SIP, Webex Calling, and unified communications platforms like MS Teams and Zoom.
    Develop detailed deployment plans with minimal business disruption.
  • System Maintenance & Optimization:
    Monitor voice systems for performance and reliability.
    Apply system updates, patches, and configuration changes to maintain optimal security and functionality.
  • Troubleshooting & Support:
    Troubleshoot and resolve complex voice-related issues (call quality, connectivity, etc.).
    Provide escalated support and collaborate cross-functionally with IT teams.
  • Project Management:
    Lead end-to-end voice infrastructure projects—upgrades, migrations, and carrier transitions.
    Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to meet deadlines and milestones.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    Maintain up-to-date documentation for configurations, troubleshooting steps, and system architecture.
    Provide reporting insights to inform business and technical decisions.
  • Innovation & Research:
    Stay on top of emerging voice technologies and trends.
    Recommend innovative solutions to enhance voice infrastructure and services.
Specific qualifications for the position include
  • 5–7 years of experience in voice engineering, with a strong background in VoIP, PBX, SIP trunking, and unified communications. 
  • Deep knowledge of protocols like SIP, H.323, and fundamentals of network design (QoS, bandwidth management). 
  • Hands-on experience with Webex Calling, Webex Contact Center, Zoom, MS Teams Voice.
  • Demonstrated expertise in voice troubleshooting tools, carrier porting processes, and telecom integrations.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Preferred certifications include CCNP, CCIE, Cisco, Avaya, CVP, Webex advanced training.
Pay Rate Range:  $54.05- $ 57.43 per hour

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
