Job description

RPG Software Engineer
Fully Remote 
6+ Months Contract (With Possible Extension)

Skills:
Over 5 + years of hands-on experience in software development roles using RPG
Experience working on large-scale, Client-facing, Enterprise production software
Familiarity with all versions of RPG, SQL, CL
Change Management: Aldon
Extensive experience with end-to-end systems development life cycles and industry standards.
Recent experience leading or working on products from architectural design to production while setting and maintaining high standards of technical excellence and processes
Experience working in an Agile environment where production code is delivered bi-monthly
Working knowledge of SDLC, CI/CD and DevOps
Strong English communication and collaboration skills and ability to work with technical and business team members
Resourceful and proactive in gathering information, solving problems, and sharing ideas
Excellent communication and collaboration skills and ability to work with stakeholders

Added bonus if you have:-
Experience using Java or JavaScript
Experience working in an Agile environment where production code is delivered bi-monthly
Experience in Angular
Knowledge or Financial products and services
Knowledge of the Financial Services Industry especially Core Banking
Experience with V7.4, Eclipse, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, MDCMS, Git, Microsoft Office applications, RDi, X Analysis, and CheckMarx
Knowledge of OS/400 and Windows 11 operating systems
