Position Overview

RecruitGo is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving high-quality mechanical design standards and innovation within the company. This position involves collaboration with design teams, mechanical drafting using AutoCAD (Revit experience is a plus), preparing technical reports, and supporting construction through site inspections and design verification.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct face-to-face and web-based training sessions
  • Help clients to optimize their business processes and ensure they are aligned with their system’s processes.
  • Telephone assistance for clients to solve “how to” problems.
  • Determine if a client’s problem is a technical issue rather than a “how to” problem and, if so, transfer the call to the tech desk.
  • Apply retail best practices in all education opportunities. You’re not just teaching a system – you’re teaching our clients how to improve every aspect of their retail operation.
  • Arrange for equipment replacements when your peers on the tech team determine the hardware has failed.
  • Own the relationship with the client in the years after the installation. This means that you will:
  • Continually train to help clients continually improve.
  • Advocate for your clients within the company. Make sure their problems are routed and resolved.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in mechanical design.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
  • Financially aware with good planning and organizational abilities.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to take on challenges and learn.
  • Revit experience is highly desirable.
  • Backgrounds in mechanical trades or related disciplines are also welcome.

  • Salary: 45,000 - 55,000 PHP (negotiable)
  • Work Set up: Remote setup
  • Work Schedule: Mondays to Fridays; 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm PHT.
