Job description

REMOTE CONTRACT POSITION - 20 hours per week

Opportunity:

Alloy is seeking a skilled freelance contractor to provide approximately 20 hours per week of dedicated support to our growing Performance Marketing Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paid search professional with a strong understanding of Google Ads principles to contribute to a variety of client campaigns. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, results-oriented, and possess a strong understanding of data-driven optimization strategies. Note, this is not a client-facing role.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our performance marketing team to develop and execute paid search (SEM) strategies across platforms such as Google Ads and Bing Ads.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify relevant and high-performing search terms.
  • Manage and optimize paid search campaigns, including ad copy creation, bid management, budget allocation, and performance monitoring.
  • Analyze campaign data and generate insightful reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify actionable insights and provide recommendations for continuous campaign optimization and improvement.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in paid search and the broader digital marketing landscape.
  • Communicate effectively with the performance marketing team on campaign updates, performance, and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of demonstrable experience in paid search working at a marketing agency.
  • Proven proficiency in managing paid search campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads and Bing Ads. 
  • Experience with other relevant digital advertising is a plus (LinkedIn & Meta)
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive actionable insights from campaign data using tools like Google Analytics.
  • Familiarity with keyword research tools (e.g., Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush) and the ability to conduct thorough keyword research.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting using tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.  
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with our internal team.  
  • Must be able to work remotely and maintain effective communication.

Hours and Duration:

  • Approximately 20 hours per week for a minimum of 12 weeks

Location:

  • Remote (Must be a US citizen or eligible to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship).
