Job description

This is a remote position.

Regular working hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Time, with an hour unpaid break.


 

We are seeking a highly motivated Intake Representative to be the first point of contact for potential clients. This role is crucial to our growth and mission, helping clients understand how we can support them through challenging times.



Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming inquiries from prospective clients via phone, web forms, referrals, and other sources
  • Qualify leads by asking relevant questions and gathering essential case details
  • Clearly explain our services, process, and value proposition in a client-friendly way
  • Convert qualified leads into signed clients by guiding them through the intake and retainer process
  • Follow up diligently with potential clients to maximize conversion rates
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM or case management system
  • Coordinate with legal team to ensure a smooth transition from intake to case handling
  • Track key performance metrics and continuously improve the intake process

Requirements
  • Prior experience in a legal intake, sales, or customer service role (law firm or insurance experience preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathetic, client-centered approach to conversations
  • Comfortable discussing legal services, answering questions, and handling objections
  • Organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple leads simultaneously
  • Tech-savvy and able to work in a fast-paced, virtual or hybrid environment
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
