Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Highlights: 

Contract: Independent Contractor
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time (1-hour unpaid break)
 

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to provide administrative support to our Housing Stabilization Services (HSS) team. This role is critical in managing referrals, coordinating documentation, communicating with clients and case managers, and ensuring smooth daily operations related to housing support programs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Track and manage incoming HSS referrals
  • Organize and maintain support documentation, including CSSP and HFPCP files
  • Send appointment reminders to clients and coordinate schedules with case managers
  • Communicate professionally and clearly via email and phone
  • Maintain confidentiality and securely handle sensitive client information
  • Enter and update data accurately in spreadsheets and internal systems

Requirements
  • Proven experience in an administrative, virtual assistant, or coordination role
  • Strong proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Access to a reliable computer and high-speed internet connection
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality protocols

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare, housing, or social services
  • Familiarity with Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) programs
  • Knowledge of waiver programs and housing stabilization processes, including CSSP/HFPCP documentation
