This role will be part of the BACE Business Operations team, which works as a support function to the needs of the BACE/ME Pricing Organization in all aspects of the proposal process for Military Engines. This role will be primarily responsible for gathering/interpreting data, analyzing results and providing ongoing report outs to help drive business decisions. The Proposal Support Specialist must be detail-oriented, organized, self-starter, work well independently and able to work with large amounts of data. They will also be responsible for assisting with projects from other areas of the Business Operations team as required; including, but not limited to BACE communications, CORE, digital transformation, and financial reporting.

What You Will Do:

  • Collect, sanitize and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns and actionable insights. Collaborate with BACE leaders and internal customers to define metrics and track performance with high quality and timeliness.
  • Act as a “push” of data to the BACE team/leadership. Be closely tied to the data to identify concerns. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Support the digital transformation initiative by analyzing performance data to determine efficiencies expected and realized.
  • Work effectively with Business Operations teammates and other cross functional teams.
  • Turn high-quality work around quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Develop and implement opportunities for additional analysis that will benefit the enterprise.
  • As time allows, support other areas of the Business Operations team as mentioned above.
  • Manage complex assignments with limited oversight from a manager and constructively resolve issues in a manner that minimizes impact and/or rework with the utmost quality.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with a minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
