Ascendon R&D is excited to announce that we are expanding our R&D teams. These teams are responsible for delivering new features for CSG’s cloud based digital BSS Ascendon Platform. An exciting opportunity currently exists for a Software Development Engineer-II with extensive product development experience to join our growing R&D team.

We are looking for a Software Dev Engr Sr who will:

As a Software Development Engineer-II in Ascendon R&D, you will have the opportunity to work with an experienced team developing solutions for Ascendon platform. You will work collaboratively with other CSG delivery teams in Chicago, Bangalore, and Brisbane. You will leverage industry best practices and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, test automation, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment. As a successful candidate, you will meet the following criteria:

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who has:

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science or related field.

• Have at least 3 years of technical experience in the telecom BSS domain in solution design and/or product development.

• Be effective at communicating and collaborating across multiple teams, ensuring understanding of both verbal and written material.

• Have technical knowledge in software development, methodologies, and design. Experience in SAFe/Scrum/Kanban is favorable.

• Demonstrate solid programming ability in languages like C#/Go Lang, or any programming knowledge preferred.

• Experience on any cloud platform is required preferably Amazon Cloud Services (AWS) is favorable.

• Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience gathering and analysing information for the development of effective solutions to problems or situations.
