Provide one-on-one and group coaching sessions focused on academic skills such as study strategies, time management, organization, and goal setting.
Monitor students' academic progress and collaborate with faculty and support staff to address challenges.
Identify and support at-risk students with tailored coaching plans and interventions.
Maintain accurate records of student interactions, progress, and outcomes.
Assist students in navigating academic resources, including tutoring, advising, and counseling services.
Develop and deliver workshops or seminars on academic success topics.
Encourage student accountability and self-advocacy.
Stay informed on current best practices in academic coaching and student development.
Bachelors degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or related field (Masters preferred).
Experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably in academic advising, coaching, or counseling.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency in using digital tools for scheduling, data tracking, and communication.
Knowledge of learning theories, motivational strategies, and educational technologies.
Experience with diverse student populations, including first-generation college students or students with learning challenges.
