Pre-Sales Voice Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Pre-Sales Hosted Voice Engineer to join our growing team. This role is essential for providing technical expertise and support to our sales teams, focusing on hosted voice solutions, including VoIP, Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), and cloud-based telephony. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in helping to articulate solutions, perform technical demonstrations, and ensure customer satisfaction through the entire pre-sales lifecycle. 

Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements and craft tailored hosted voice solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concept trials to showcase hosted voice capabilities and benefits.
• Provide expert-level technical support in sales meetings, responding to technical inquiries from customers.
• Design and present detailed solutions including architecture, implementation plans, and technical specifications.
• Assist sales teams with preparing accurate quotations, proposals, and RFP responses.
• Stay current with industry trends, competitive products, and technologies relevant to hosted voice and unified communications.
• Liaise with implementation and service delivery teams to ensure seamless transition from sales to operations.

Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pre-sales engineering with a focus on hosted voice or related technologies.
• Strong technical understanding of VoIP, SIP Trunking, UCaaS platforms, and cloud-based telephony systems.
• Experience with major hosted voice providers and platforms (Cisco Webex Calling, Microsoft Teams Voice, RingCentral, 8x8, etc.).
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to engage customers, build trust, and influence decision-making.
• Technical certifications related to VoIP or unified communications preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field is desirable.
