Job Summary The ONE Media team is a center of excellence that works in service to the over 30 beautiful brands of L’Oreal USA.  Our mission is to ensure our brands have best in class partnerships in value, structure and ways of working with our media partners and agencies while delivering next level strategic vision.   Our Paid Social Media Team Lead will manage the in-house team to execute great work in the smartest way possible.  We are looking for a person to provide thought leadership and collaboration to deliver world-class campaigns for our brands.  To succeed, you will need to be a self-starter with management skills to lead a team to execute across Facebook/Instagram, Snapchat, Tik Tok and Pinterest. This individual must have a background in leading a team, strong knowledge of hands on execution via all social platforms, be a creative solutions advocate, willing and eager to try new tools and technology, passionate and knowledgeable about social media and data, have a deep project management toolkit and exercise excellent leadership through influence skills. Day-to-day, your role includes: MANAGEMENT: Build, lead and manage the in-house paid social team; Develop ways of working for the in-house team and agency counterparts; develop team skills with training THOUGHT-LEADERSHIP: Develop best practices and learning agendas; Future of social, test and learns with shareout/scale GOVERNANCE: Develop and maintain strong governance for viewability, brand safety, reporting consistency and platform security across platforms BUILDING COMMUNITY: Lead and encourage the LUSA paid social media community with weekly Petite Salon’s; Highlight successes and areas for growth Working cross functionally with Divisional Social Media leads and Agencies to understand business needs and helping identify and solving process needs Operationalize internal and external ways of working identifying ways to be more agile Be an expert and leader in Paid Social Fully integrate into the L’Oreal culture and embrace the intricacies of being in service of the brands Be viewed as a business partner by leaders within the organization The details behind what you’ll do: Paid Social Leadership on CDMO: Lead Social Petite Salon Meeting Content Weekly (all LUSA paid social media talent aprox. 30 ppl) driving the agenda based on the latest industry updates, case studies, best practices, new vendors to consider Support SVP in partnering with the Global Social Media Leads from other Markets on Upskilling and Excellence projects, ensure the LUSA organization is compliant with all tech and best practices Maintain close coordination across CDMO specialties including Content Center of Excellence who lead in earned and owned social Media Agency Partnership Lead and Oversight for Social Media Oversee the agencies development of best practices, benchmarks, and ways of working for paid social Lead in relationship development and partner selection for PMD for social execution Ensure in-house teams and Agencies teams share learnings and best practices regularly Responsible for management and development of Social partnerships Lead monthly meetings with all core social partners Develop relationships and partnerships to benefit the brands Scale learnings across LUSA We’re looking for strong, impactful work experience, which typically includes: Minimum of 12+ in Media field with a focus on social media BS Degree. Advanced degree preferred with highest level of technical mastery across a range of Media functional disciplines.
