Job description

NVIDIA Networking unit is looking for Supplier Quality Engineer in Thailand - Chonburi area, who will be responsible for quality monitoring and control.  Investigating, analyzing, and correcting problems in quality, production, and control at supplier locations.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing and monitoring Contract Manufacturer (CM) and sub- supplier Quality performance in accordance with NVIDIA quality requirements.

  • Tracks, analyzes and leads initiatives for end-to-end quality aspects: supplier quality, contract manufacturer quality and customer compliant issues.

  • Actively represent NVIDIA Quality function in customer and supplier management reviews/ audits and follow up on audit finding items till closure.

  • Manage non-conformance of incoming material/ product quality issues thru NVIDIA Material Review Board (MRB) system.

  • Provides risk assessment and mitigations for NPI for products/ manufacturing processes with quality mindset “Do it right at the first time and every time”.

  • Continually work with suppliers to improve quality, implement process control and quality plans

  • Analyze supplier capabilities. Develop and maintain supplier quality metrics.

  • Perform Contract Manufacturer (CM) and Supplier Quality Process/ System Audits to maintain and improve existing quality systems and processes.

  • Lead problem solving activities for ongoing quality improvement.

What we need to see:

  • 3+ years’ experience as SQE or similar quality related or technological position

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical / Materials / Electrical / electro-optics Engineering or a related field.

  • Experience as QC or QA in interconnect/cable products, cable and mechanical production processes, and optical integration production lines (PCB, PCBA – advantage).

  • Familiar with industry standard specifications, IPC, JEDEC, MIL Std, etc.

  • Ability to read electronics / mechanical drawings.

  • Clear communication, Good English skills (Writing, Reading, Listening and Speaking)

  • Computer, std Office applications: PowerPoint/Excel/word/outlook

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Understanding of basic quality methods and practice, Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Six Sigma, Poka-Yoke, OOB, sampling plans and statistics.

  • IPC standard certification.

  • Optical and cable manufacturing process experience
