What you are empowered to accomplish: Plummer is looking for a Licensed Electrical Engineer to help grow our EI&C discipline as a project Engineer (E4 / PM-1) and to contribute to current projects. We are seeking a Texas Electrical PE who will effectively participate in EI&C design and review tasks to achieve goals and project management, to serve our communities. At Plummer we offer workshops and provide you with the necessary tools to thrive. Our Ideal Teammate: Our ideal teammate will have: 5 years of experience in the A/E/C industry 1-3 Years of Experience as Licensed Electrical Engineer expertise. Professional Engineer (PE) Licensed in Texas (or ability to obtain a license in 6 months – must be licensed in another State). Desired project management, and project independent design. We require a bachelor’s degree in science or engineering and A post-graduate degree is preferred. We are seeking a strong communicator with the ability to collaboratively plan, problem-solve, and follow-through on projects. Required technical skills: Service entrance design for 120/208 VAC; 277/480 VAC, greater than 600 Amps. Service demanded load calculation. Generators sizing and utility coordination. NFPA 70, NFPA 70E. CSI Div. 26 Specification writing. Commissioning and site walks. Industrial lighting design. Mechanical Equipment (pumps, motor) power design. Familiarity with Industrial design and facilities design. Autodesk AUTOCAD. Review of Equipment submittals and Review Request for Information (RFI). Client communication and client service. Controls, Instrumentation, Communication, and SCADA understanding. Desired experience – but not required: SKM or ETAP OCPD coordination modeling. Corrosive environments. Hazardous classification. MCCs, Switchboards sizing. NFPA 820, NESC. Project streamline knowledge: Preliminary report, design phase, bidding phase, construction phase, and close out. Experience with equipment submittal review, response of Request for Information (RFI) during construction. Experience coordination with other engineering disciplines. Coordinating with multiple disciplines and staff. Medium Voltage UG design is preferred. PMP certification. Travel Required in Texas: 15-20%. Travel reimbursements.
