Job description

Every day, somewhere in the world, important decisions are made. Whether it is a private equity company deciding to invest millions into a business or a large corporation implementing a new strategic direction, these decisions impact employees, customers, and other stakeholders.

Consulting and private equity firms come to proSapient when they need to discover knowledge to help them make great decisions and succeed in their goals. It is our mission to support them in their discovery of knowledge.

We help our clients find industry experts who can provide their knowledge via interview or survey: we curate this knowledge in a market-leading software platform; and we help clients surface knowledge they already have through expansive knowledge management.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who enjoys the challenge of designing data-rich products and solving complex problems through deep, customer-led research. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape our design strategy and influence the product roadmap. You'll work closely with senior enterprise stakeholders and have a direct impact on the user experience of our core platform. You’ll also explore how users interact with AI-enabled products, helping shape intuitive experiences that guide them into a new era of AI-driven workflows. This role includes mentoring and managing another designer, and you’ll report directly to the Head of Product.

The key responsibilities for the role include:

  • Define and drive the design vision across our products, adapting to evolving user and business needs.
  • Lead user research efforts end-to-end, synthesizing insights into actionable product direction.
  • Design and establish best practices and processes for the design team, consistently evaluating and adjusting to ensure alignment with evolving goals and objectives.
  • Develop user journeys that not only meet functional needs but also foster engagement and satisfaction.
  • Evolve and extend our visual design language with awareness of emerging AI and design trends.
  • Translate product objectives into compelling user journeys, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, usability, and consistency during implementation.
  • Present design decisions clearly, articulating rationale, tradeoffs, and user value.
  • Mentor and support junior designers with guidance, critique, and design reviews.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience designing digital products, with a portfolio demonstrating strong interaction and visual design skills.
  • Proficiency in Figma, across all stages of the design process (from early concepts to high-fidelity prototypes).
  • Proven ability to independently conduct and synthesize user research, including with senior enterprise stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence presenting design rationale and research findings to cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working in agile, iterative environments as part of cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and a desire to shape design strategy in a fast-growing organization.
  • Rigorously follow design best practices and maintain organized workflows to ensure consistent, high-quality output.
  • Bonus points for experience with B2B data platform.
  • Experience mentoring or leading other designers is considered an advantage.
