Description
The Senior Procurement Analyst is responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier performance, and procurement optimization through advanced analytics and the use of emerging technologies, including AI-powered tools. This role utilizes knowledge of procurement, excellent analytical capabilities, and a keen interest in leveraging AI and automation to drive smarter decision-making and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
- Leverage procurement, contract, and vendor management software to analyze procurement and spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities, risk factors, and process improvement areas.
- Utilize AI-powered tools and predictive analytics to enhance spend forecasting, supplier risk assessment, and sourcing strategies.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand material requirements and support operational needs while ensuring compliance with quality and pricing standards.
- Subject matter expert on procurement flow process with a focus on optimizing workflow, capabilities, and analytics.
- Lead the review and negotiation of vendor agreements in accordance with eMoney’s policies and procedures, leveraging experience to obtain favorable terms and conditions.
- Create and manage purchase orders.
- Prepare and communicate appropriate summaries or other reports relating to vendor contract terms, cost analysis, and other relevant metrics to inform decision making for applicable internal stakeholders.
- Assist in designing and implementing policies and procedures to improve compliance, controls, and procurement process effectiveness.
- Build and maintain deep relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Identify areas for improvement in vendor relationships and processes, and work with relevant departments to implement changes.
- Lead/Assist procurement and vendor management projects, as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or supply chain management.
- Experience with ERP, procurement, and contract management systems and software.
- Procurement or supply chain certifications are a plus.
Skills
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
- Strong negotiation skills (with experience in negotiating agreements for computer assets and SaaS solutions)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and cross functionally as part of a team.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends.
The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $113,000; commensurate salary to be determined based on skills, professional background and expertise. This position is also eligible, pursuant to applicable eMoney policies, for the annual bonus program, retirement contributions, health insurance, sick leave, parental leave and paid time off.
