Smiths is a leading provider of drainage solutions, dedicated to delivering high-quality services to our clients. We pride ourselves on our expertise, reliability, and commitment to customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Class 2 Driver / Drainage Operative to join our team. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 2 Driver to join us. You will be responsible for driving our drainage vehicle to and from jobs and assisting with drainage requirements (unblocking and clearing drains) whilst at site.

With depots in Avonmouth, Cardiff, Gloucester, Stonehouse and Tewkesbury we operate predominately across the South-West of England. We specialise in Construction, Waste Management, Plant Hire, Demolition and Transport operations.

Responsibilities for the job role:

  • Drive the company vehicle to site, help and support the drainage operatives in their work
  • Working as part of a team to clear blockages in drains and pipes, operating jetting and CCTV systems
  • Comply with company procedures and policies at all times

Requirements:

  • A positive attitude
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • A Full UK Driving License
  • A Class 2 HGV license
  • Drivers CPC
  • Flexible approach to a very varied role

Hourly rate: £15.70

Hours: 42.5 hours + per week
