The Department of Population, Family, and Reproductive Health is seeking a Research Assistant.
About the project: An NIH R01 award that evaluates the dissemination and implementation of MyPlanKenya, a web-based decision aid for women experiencing and at risk for partner violence. This project is implemented in Kenya and grounded in gender-based violence (GBV) and gender subtopics such as help-seeking norms and experiences, access to resources, justice, and technology.
The key roles and responsibilities of the RAs will include coding and analyzing qualitative data, such as co-developing a codebook with our Kenyan colleagues, coding, and conducting thematic analysis, as well as assisting with further dissemination activities.
This is a casual part-time role, with a minimum requirement of 15-20 hours per week during May-June 2025, with the potential to work in July, as timelines permit.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.
- Previous experience in qualitative analysis required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework in qualitative methods and analysis and gender/GBV.
- Experience working in the field of GBV or sexual and reproductive health.
