Senior QA Engineer

This is a remote position.

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at CME, you will lead the efforts in manual testing on the assigned project to ensure software quality and performance. You will be responsible for designing test plans, executing test cases, and collaborating with the software development team to identify and solve quality-related issues. Your role will focus on maintaining high standards in various phases of the software development lifecycle and ensuring that all product releases meet the quality expectations. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  
• Perform thorough manual testing including regression, integration, and system testing.
  
• Identify, document, and track bugs throughout the testing phase.
  
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure consistent project execution.
  
• Review quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely feedback.
  
• Mentor junior QA engineers and provide guidance on QA methodologies and best practices.
  
• Lead the integration of manual testing methodologies with automated testing frameworks.
  
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on manual testing.
  
• Proven expertise in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  
• Adept at using test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and continuous integration processes.
  
• Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail.
  
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
