This is a remote position.

Role Name: Administrative Council Liaison Specialist

Schedule:

  • Part-time (20 hours per week) flexible
  • Remote position
  • Client Timezone: New Zealand Time Zone (NZT)

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage council applications and compliance documentation see examples attached of forms some are paperwork some are online portals
  • Liaise with New Zealand councils regarding project requirements
  • Put together agreements and maintain documentation see attached agreement
  • Handle council requests and correspondence
  • Process and track council information requests
  • Manage administrative workflow for architectural projects
  • Pull and organize council specifications from web sources and complete in smart spec software following each individual council requirement
  • Tidy and achieve one drive files complete project onboarding remind me of deadlines and my schedule

Requirements:

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Experience with document management and preparation particularly NZ Building code clauses
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures
  • Basic understanding of architectural or construction documentation
  • Proficiency in standard office software and documentation tools

Scope:

  • Direct reporting to business owner
  • Handle multiple council relationships across New Zealand
  • Manage ongoing administrative processes and documentation
