As a Principal Platform Product Manager, you will:
Drive impact by defining success metrics, analyzing data, prioritizing projects, and aligning efforts with business strategies
Communicate and collaborate by clearly articulating customer problems, working with others, and balancing diverse viewpoints
Shape strategy by monitoring competitors, understanding developer needs, and designing technical solutions
Provide clear direction, handle dependencies, remove roadblocks, and apply effective operating rhythms to mobilize your teams
Proven experience building developer platforms with deep technical knowledge, customer empathy, strong execution skills, and a history of impactful business results
6+ years designing and delivering world-class platform products that solve significant customer needs, specifically in large-scale distributed systems and platforms
Experience with container ecosystems, Kubernetes, serverless (AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, etc.) development, and operational tools
Experience defining, building, and delivering products on public clouds – AWS, Azure, and GCP
A good understanding of defining and building SaaS and/or enterprise services, products, and infrastructure at scale
Intimately familiar with modern software development practices used to build and deploy applications
Collaborates cross-functionally across multiple teams (Engineering, UX/Design, Analytics, etc.), estimating level of effort, identifying dependencies, and resource needs
Strong written and oral communication and team management skills, the ability to simplify complex topics, and comfort presenting at all levels of the organization
