Senior Workday Consultant
As a Workday HCM consultant with Strada you will be hands on with system design and implementation including generating client briefs and working with stakeholders to transform briefs into industry leading HCM solutions
Key Responsibilities
Design and configuration of customer HCM solution
Ownership of the customer design spreadsheet/workbook
Collaborates with all Practice/Functional Areas/Lead Consultant on their project to ensure that the solution is complete from end-to-end and has taken into account impacts downstream.
Participate in Functional/Integrations/Data Cross Team Meetings
Documenting issues, decisions, and action items from Initiation and Architect sessions
Unit Testing of configuration while building and Smoke Testing PRIOR to hand off to the client
Supporting customer as initial responder to questions/issues during Project Lifecycle, e.g., Customer Unit Testing (P1) End-to-End Testing (P2), UAT Testing, Parallel Testing (P3), Deployment, Post Go Live.
Key Criteria
Training and/or Certifications in Workday HCM Solutions.
Experienced in the implementation and delivery of cloud solutions, preferably Workday.
Experienced in requirements gathering and transformation into a client solution
Experienced communicating with clients in person, in workshops and design sessions developing strategic improvements to HCM solutions
Strong presentations skills preferably delivering product demos and running design sessions.
Required Experience:
5+ years previous experience implementing an ERP system concentrating on a financials solution
Deep HCM experience with a demonstrated aptitude for systems implementation
Previous consulting experience is required either as an internal consultant or with a consulting / software organization
Knowledge and experience with translating business requirements into system requirements
Strong communication skills including the ability to synthesize information into clear, concise messages
Experience in addressing difficult conversations proactively; strong soft skills that facilitate resolution and win-win approach
Proven consultative skills to guide client and internal discussions to agreement of solutions in a timely manner
Highly self-motivated and flexible in a change-driven environment
Anticipates future needs and helps determine the ideal solution for issues and processes
A passion for collaboration and a willingness to think outside the box to develop processes and tools suited for the change involved in the enablement of cloud platforms
Exhibits problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting issues and escalating as appropriate
Experience implementing Workday, SAP, Oracle, ADP, or similar HCM systems
Proficiency in MS suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
Workday HCM certification preferred. Candidates that are not certified will be considered for the role but they will need to successfully pass any required certification(s) as well as on-going successful re-certification per platform requirements
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
