Our Newest Opportunity:
The Agency Onboarding Specialist is responsible for agency-to-agency account transfers and carrier appointments. The Agency Onboarding Specialist will exercise independent judgment, attention to detail and strong customer service skills to ensure timely, complete, and accurate onboarding of new agencies to OneDigital.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end agency onboarding process independently to ensure timeline carrier transfers and appointments of new agencies to OneDigital
Serve as a primary point of contact and liaison for sellers and broker partners to facilitate transfers by gathering carrier, policy number or insured information
Oversee and serve as a primary contact for agency-to-agency contract transfers and follow up as needed to confirm transfer, obtain an effective date and expected commissions date
Correspond with internal stakeholders and external carrier contacts to ensure the agency is properly contracted and appointed with all applicable carriers
Prepare and submit notification/request communications with carriers to update existing contracts to reflect accurate provisions between the parties.
Actively anticipate and independently resolve any issues that arise during the transfer or appointment process
Manage end-to-end existing agency carrier contracting and transfer process independently to ensure proper and timely process of commission payments
Serve as a primary contact with carriers to obtain and distribute commission schedules and contingency programs in a timely manner to ensure appropriate commission payment tracking
Maintain and communicate commission schedules to appropriate stakeholders to comply with applicable regulatory requirements
Maintain and monitor agent and agency appointment records in AgentSync, include regular auditing and reporting, to ensure agent and agency compliance with regulatory requirements
Execute internal agent to agent AOR changes upon agent departure to ensure continuity of commission payments
Develop and maintain key carrier relationships of to increase their cooperation and responsiveness and benefit the team’s overall productivity
Conduct employee orientations and training on process best practices, including developing learning pathways in OneDigital LMS.
Monitor carrier communications and use independent judgment to triage and respond to inquiries as needed
Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
Detail oriented.
Exceptional analytical problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
Solid business acumen.
Good organizational skills.
Ability to work and interact with peers and individuals throughout the organization.
Interact and respond to broker partners and new acquisition when in the transfer process including Excel.
Education, Training and Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in the insurance industry
Prefer some experience in broker transfers.
Prefer some commission related experience.
The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $45,000 to $50,000 per year.
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
