We are looking to add a Data Analyst to our team!  

 

 

LOCATION : Fully Remote 

REPORTS TO: Data Science Manager 

PAY: $75,000 - $95,000/ salary 

 

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITES:  

  • Own and maintain transformation pipelines in dbt, helping define and standardize our data modeling layer (e.g., staging, intermediate, and mart layers). 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments (Product, Finance, Ops, Marketing) to define KPIs and ensure they’re consistently and accurately reflected in our reporting layer. 

  • Translate raw data from our cloud data warehouse (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) into clean, structured, business-ready datasets. 

  • Use SQL daily to write efficient, well-documented code for data transformations and ad hoc queries. 

  • Participate in code reviews, help enforce dbt best practices, and assist in driving data engineering standards. 

  • (Bonus) Build dashboards or visualizations in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker, Mode) when needed to support business stakeholders. 

  • (Bonus) Support the design and evaluation of predictive models using Python or similar tools for advanced analytical use cases. 

 

REQUIREMENTS:  

Education & Experience:  

  • 1–2 years of experience in a data analyst, analytics engineer, or similar role 

  • Expert-level SQL skills with an ability to write performant, readable, and modular queries 

  • Strong experience working with dbt in a production environment 

  

Skills:  

  • Solid understanding of data modeling principles (e.g., Kimball/star schema, slowly changing dimensions) 

  • Familiarity with data architecture concepts including data warehousing, transformation layers, and analytics pipelines 

  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and translate business needs into technical solutions 

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills 

  • A strong sense of ownership and pride in the accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of your work 

  • (Bonus) Experience with Python and predictive analytics/machine learning is a plus 

  • (Bonus) Experience working in cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) and modern BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker)
