Description

This is a Remote Work position.  The selected candidate may reside and perform work in any of the following states: Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Texas or Florida.  No relocation benefit will be offered for this position. 

 

BASIC PURPOSE: 

The primary role of this position will be to support, optimize and modernize our financial and manufacturing related systems.  This position will be crucial in supporting and enhancing our current manufacturing operations while identifying future-focused transformation opportunities.  Additionally, the position will help to identify inefficiencies and improve process workflows in all areas of our enterprise systems.  This position will also recommend and implement system-level improvements.  This position will work directly with stakeholders in Accounting, Manufacturing, Operations and IT along with outside vendors to help refine workflows, improve integration efficiency and lead critical system initiatives.

 

BASIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support financial and manufacturing related system projects including integration enhancements, system upgrades, automation efforts and user empowerment.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including coordinating support activities, escalating issues, and overseeing external resource deliverables.
  • Act as a liaison between internal customers and technical resources to define, document and improve current business processes.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable technical requirements and project plans.
  • Contribute to the long-term financial and manufacturing related systems roadmap and help define best practices for system architecture and change management.
  • Maintain detailed system documentation, including process flows, integration maps, and configuration records.
  • Provides reporting and updates to management and associates.
  • Web integration and workflow support will be required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree along with 7 – 10 years of progressive professional experience.
  • Preferred requirements include at least 3 years of experience in ERP support (Infor LX, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and systems analysis in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing financial and manufacturing system related vendors, consultants and third-party support teams (Infor LX, Microsoft Dynamics, IBM Power Server, AS/400, etc.)
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives from concept through implementation; PMP experience with Smartsheet or other PM software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to bridge gaps between business requirements and technical solutions.
  • Ability to manage time and tasks efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail as well as outstanding organizational skills.
