Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis with a significant background focused on SOX compliance. This role involves analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and providing data-driven insights to support decision-making.

Responsibilities: • Serve as a key point of contact and subject matter expert on SOX compliance requirements within the organization, specifically within the healthcare domain. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, and Operations, to understand business processes and identify associated risks and controls. • Document and maintain detailed process flows, narratives, and control matrices in accordance with SOX requirements. • Perform gap analysis to identify areas of non-compliance and recommend effective remediation strategies. • Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls related to financial reporting and information technology systems. • Participate in and support internal and external SOX audits, including preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and tracking remediation efforts. • Utilize knowledge of database structures and security principles to assess and ensure the SOX compliance of data management processes. • Leverage tools such as Imperva to monitor and analyze database activity for potential security vulnerabilities and compliance issues. • Demonstrated experience working within the healthcare industry and a strong understanding of healthcare-specific regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH). • In-depth knowledge of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and its application to business processes and IT systems. • Solid understanding of database concepts, structures, and security principles. • Hands-on experience with database security and monitoring tools, preferably Imperva. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex technical and regulatory concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis and data analysis. • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization software. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Experience working in a hybrid work model. • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. • Knowledge of data governance and security policies. • Experience in creating and maintaining documentation. • Ability to provide training and support to end-users. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvement.
