A software startup specializing in compliance software for the cosmetics and chemical industries. The software hosts a vast library of chemicals and cosmetic ingredients.

The Role

We are looking for detail-oriented individuals with a strong sense of accuracy and precision. In this role, you will be responsible for entering a high number of chemicals from international lists into our system. The primary focus is ensuring that substance names and substance identity data are entered correctly. A sound understanding of chemistry and IUPAC naming is therefore essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Entering lists of specific substance identities and matching them with their CAS numbers.
Matching chemicals, where equivalent, to those with alternative naming conventions.
Distinguishing between INCI names and IUPAC names.
Checking large amounts of chemical inventory data for accuracy.

Requirements

A university degree in chemistry is ideal. Biochemistry and pharmaceutical science will also be considered.
Excellent attention to detail.
Previous experience with Excel or Google Sheets required.
