Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:
  • Contract type: Independent Contractor
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 9AM-1PM UK time

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day bookkeeping for three business accounts and one personal account. The ideal candidate will have UK bookkeeping experience, be proficient with QuickBooks, and be capable of preparing clear and accurate financial reports.


Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate financial records for three business accounts and one personal account.
  • Manage and reconcile bank transactions, receipts, invoices, and expenses.
  • Use QuickBooks to record and categorize financial data.
  • Produce monthly financial reports.
  • Assist with cash flow management and financial forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant UK accounting standards and practices.
  • Liaise with the accountant as needed for year-end reporting and tax submissions.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably within the UK.
  • Strong proficiency with QuickBooks accounting software.
  • Solid understanding of UK financial regulations and bookkeeping practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
