Position Overview:

The Senior Accountant will drive accurate, timely financial reporting and ensure compliance across multiple business entities. This is a critical role requiring full-cycle accounting expertise, strong reconciliation skills, proactive communication, and a self-directed work style. The ideal candidate thrives on ownership, precision, and problem-solving to support operational and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting: A/P, A/R, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Maintain accurate and timely books across multiple entities.
• Handle bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Oversee inventory accounting and resolve discrepancies (experience with SOS Inventory is a plus).
• Prepare and file sales tax and other compliance documents.
• Collaborate closely with internal managers and external CPA firms.
• Make recommendations on cash flow management and financial process improvements.
• Proactively identify and solve accounting and reporting issues.
• Ensure timely month-end close processes and compliance reporting.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online (non-negotiable).
• Multi-entity accounting experience.
• Expertise in bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Experience managing inventory accounting.
• Ability to independently prioritize tasks and manage remote work schedules.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines.
• Proactive communicator and team collaborator.
• High integrity and professional judgment.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with SOS Inventory or similar platforms.
• CPA certification.
• Financial modeling or cash flow management experience.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, franchise, or service industries.
