Posting Salary Range: $53,045 - $66,837

Office Location: Remote within North Carolina.

What We’re Looking For

Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Contract Coordinator to join our team! The Contract Coordinator collaborates with vendors, stakeholders, and multiple parties to create language standards for new and existing contracts, facilitates negotiations, analyzes standards for potential risks, and ensures contractors are meeting the minimal requirements and expectations as outlined. This position is fundamental to ensuring the organization’s financial health, contractor success, and works internally and externally to confirm the availability of funds and resources and helps to resolve billing and other contractual issues. On a typical day, you might:

  • Review contract requests, contract documents, and relevant forms for proper use, completeness, accuracy, and compliance to State and Federal regulations and adherence to the organizations policy and procedures.

 

  • Distribute, track, and forward new contractor forms as required for access to the Business System and for reimbursement to occur.

 

  • Draft, issue, and track new contracts to ensure they are returned, fully executed, and filed appropriately in the electronic files.

 

  • Revise and reissue contracts for the new fiscal year, end of contract term, or as needed.   This includes working cross functionally to discuss problems with current contracts and obtaining suggestions for new (fiscal year) contracts while maintaining compliance with requirements mandated by the State and the organizations policies and procedures

 

  • Ensure contractor compliance with contractual requirements including, but not limited to, exclusion checks, NCTracks enrollment, invoicing, facility and professional licensure, and other state-maintained databases prior to contracting and ongoing.

 

  • Review Provider Change Forms to ensure new service location has required enrollment in NCTracks, Facility licensure, taxonomies, etc. and updates Business System as applicable based on findings.

 

  • Maintain contractor data in the Business System to include, not limited to, setting up new contractors, entering and updating information, and editing existing data to support claims submission and adjudication.

 

  • Develop and maintain SmartSheets, excel spreadsheets, and other tracking mechanisms as needed.

Qualifications: 

Education/Experience:
 
Associate’s degree and four (4) years of experience working in a business or physical or behavioral/mental health care setting or environment where contracts and subcontracts are used extensively to provide services.

OR

Bachelor’s degree and minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a business or physical or behavioral/mental health care setting or environment where contracts and subcontracts are used extensively to provide services.

OR

Equivalent combination of education/experience
 
 
Preferred Education: 
 
Prefer a bachelor’s degree in human services or business field. 
 
Preferred Experience: 
 
Six (6) months experience managing contracts that support reimbursement of public funds for physical and/or behavioral/mental health services.
 
License/Certification: 
 Must have a valid driver’s license
