Job description

Our client, a global Healthcare company, is seeking a qTest Architect to lead an SAP implementation project. The selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and quality of backend data processing and retrieval systems. The ideal candidate is a hands-on expert in qTest and API testing with a strong background in automation, data validation, and automation frameworks. This position requires a deep understanding of SME processes, data modeling, and middleware integration, as well as strong experience working with business users to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.

This is a remote, contract role, starting with a one-year contract for a 2 year project, that is likely to renew. The selected candidate can be located anywhere in India and must be able to support the client's EST preferred working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop design test cases for applications
Review business, functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables
Identify testing requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for testing activities related to SAP S/4 Hana within the Life Sciences domain, ensuring compliance with CSV (Computer System Validation) requirements
Responsible for developing and executing Test Plans to ensure delivery of quality software that meets company specifications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, business analysts, and product owners to ensure alignment of QA deliverables
Capable of writing and executing manual tests for web and mobile applications
Write and execute manual tests for both web and mobile applications, validating functionality and user experience
Design, build, implement and maintain the test automation framework
Identify, collect, and provide test automation results and metrics

Requirements

5+ years of relevant testing experience conducting testing of critical customer-facing applications
Proficient in Performance testing, Expert in using Test Management tools like qTest
Proficient in backend testing, including data mapping, ETL validation, and ability to write and troubleshoot
Proven experience in defining and executing automation test cases, including scheduling and managing test automation directly from within a test case management tool
Proficient knowledge of Testing tools including qTest is a must
Knowledge of API and Microservices is required
