Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule:
  • Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, New York, USA, Eastern Time (with 1-hour unpaid break)
  • 40 hours a week

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our growing team. This role is critical to scaling our accounting operations and ensuring timely reconciliations and enhanced financial reporting.The ideal candidate is hands-on, thrives in dynamic environments and brings a passion to learn.


What you will do:

● Assist in parts of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close process
● Prepare reconciliations to generate journal entries
● Work closely with the accounting team to assist in the preparation of the month end close package, conducting variance analysis and certain reports
● Prepare month end reconciliations related to the AP process including a comparison of source information to the system
● Ensure adherence to accounting policies and control environment
● Reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis to resolve discrepancies
● Participate in process improvements and automation initiatives

Requirements
● Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting/financial reporting
● Experience in Lending and or Fintech industry is a plus (high growth company)


Skillset:

● Experience with NetSuite or similar to ERP
● Strong skillset in Microsoft Office
● Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
● Excellent communication skills
