Job description

This is a remote position.

Royal Basketball School is hiring for Head of Sales and Marketing (Permanent Work From Home).


At the Royal Basketball School, we are dedicated to nurturing and developing the next generation of basketball stars. As a leading institution in basketball training and education, we provide a dynamic and immersive learning environment for aspiring athletes to enhance their skills, knowledge, and passion for the game. 


The Head of Marketing and Sales at the Royal Basketball School is a key leadership position responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies and sales techniques to promote and drive enrollment in the programs offered by the school. This role requires a strong blend of marketing expertise, sales acumen, and an understanding of the sports education industry.



Requirements

Responsibilities:


  1. Develop Marketing Strategy: 

  • Create a comprehensive marketing strategy (digital and physical) that aligns with the school's objectives and targets the desired audience. 

  • This includes identifying target markets, conducting market research, and formulating marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and attract potential students.


  1. Sales Management: 

  • Lead the sales and customer service teams in developing effective strategies that drive enrollment and retention in the school’s programs. 

  • Set targets, monitor performance, and provide guidance and support to the teams. 


  1. Brand Management: 

  • Oversee the school's brand image and ensure consistency across all marketing and communication channels. 

  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines, promotional materials, and advertising campaigns to enhance the school's reputation and visibility.


  1. Digital Marketing: 

  • Utilize various digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO), to reach the target audience effectively. 

  • Develop engaging and informative content that highlights the benefits and uniqueness of the offered programs.





Degree/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.

  • Marketing Certification (preferred).



Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing both marketing and sales functions.

  • Strong understanding of marketing (digital and physical) and sales (tele-sales and in-person) principles, strategies, and tactics.

  • Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth and achieving targets.

  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve results.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to drive change and lead organizational growth initiatives.

  • Knowledge of digital marketing, social media, and emerging marketing technologies.

  • Experience in the sports education industry is a plus.



Benefits

Location and Work Environment:

  • Full-time remote / work-from-home set-up, working for a company based in Los Angeles, California.

  • 30 hours per week.



Compensation: 

  • $10 - $12 per hour, based on experience. 



Our Hiring Process

This role involves two interviews and a trial assignment. We aspire to ensure that no more than three days elapse between each stage, but delays may occur. Additional stages may be necessary based on internal policy or decision changes. Please keep this in mind when applying for the role.
