Job Overview Summary 

Our Summer Intern Program is aimed at providing an enriching and mutually beneficial experience that empowers young talent with the skills, knowledge, and values needed to excel in their chosen fields and potential careers at Advarra. In addition to their working teams, the cohort will have regular opportunities to engage with each other and senior leaders from across Advarra to expand their networks and exposure to the business.  

The Business Process team is responsible for working as a liaison between the Commercial organization and the Business Systems team to help streamline system development requests, design process for new and existing system framework, documentation, and enhance system data structure.  

Job Duties & Responsibilities  

  • Documentation: Assist in compiling and organizing project documentation, including process flows and standard operating procedures. 
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for optimization which will include interviews with team members to understand core business processes. 
  • User Acceptance Testing: Assist with system testing to help identify potential issues with new development. 
  • Specific projects may include: documentation of existing processes, data clean-up projects, testing of system development and user experience analysis 
  • This role will work closely with Commercial and Sales Operations as well as the Business Systems team

This role is open to candidates working remotely 

Basic Qualifications 

  • High school diploma required  
  • Graduate or undergraduate student pursing a degree in (insert relevant fields of study)  
  • Insert any required experience specific to the role (technical knowledge, past intern experience, etc.)  
  • Ability to participate in the cohort beginning Monday, June 2, 2025 and running through Friday, August 8, 2025 and work 20/40 hours per week between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm EST (edit for requirements)  
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities  
  • Physical and Mental Requirements 
  • Sit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary workstation 
  • Regularly carry, raise, and lower objects of up to 10 Lbs.  
  • Learn and comprehend basic instructions 
  • Focus and attention to tasks and responsibilities 
  • Verbal communication; listening and understanding, responding, and speaking
