Schedule: Summer Internship, Monday through Friday 8a-5p CST

As a Communication and Engagement Intern, you’ll play a key role in strengthening our internal culture and employee engagement by developing compelling digital content for ElaraConnect—our innovative suite of patient engagement programs.
This isn’t your typical internship. You’ll be an integral part of a mission-driven healthcare team creating impactful social media campaigns, educational resources, and storytelling experiences that energize our field staff, support professional growth, and ultimately improve patient outcomes.
Create engaging digital content for internal social media and communication platforms.
Design educational materials to support employee learning and professional development.
Measure and optimize campaign performance using analytics and feedback.
Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and strategy.
Support the rollout of company-wide engagement initiatives.
Strong writing and storytelling skills with a passion for audience-centered content.
Creative mindset with experience in graphic or video design (Canva, Adobe Suite preferred).
Detail-oriented approach, strong organizational skills, and an eye for visual design.
Working knowledge of social media, internal communications tools, and engagement strategies.
Interest in education and professional development—you care about helping others grow.
Self-starter energy with the ability to work both independently and in collaboration.
Experience in healthcare, HR, or internal communications.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, CRM/HR platforms, or employee engagement tools.
Understanding of social media metrics and content strategy.
Education: High school diploma or GED required. Actively pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, PR, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Demonstrated background in digital content creation and visual storytelling.
Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; intermediate design/editing skills; familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and CRM or HRSD platforms is a plus.
Transportation: Must have reliable access to attend occasional in-person meetings.

Pay is based off experience and is between $18-$22/hour
